Infrared Thermography Inspection

Infrared thermography inspection uses infrared imaging technology that allows The Inspection King Inspectors to show you things about a structure that no one can show you using other inspection methods. This infrared imaging produces images of invisible heat energy emitted from objects and systems in the building and allows us to see it in a picture. As we inspect homes in the Southeastern Louisiana areas, we use infrared technology to find hidden problems that you may not even know about.  This is a non-invasive, non-destruction inspection that helps detect and measure temperature differences in the home.

An infrared thermography inspection can help to diagnose the problem rather than merely identify the symptoms. It can sometimes, but not always, identify and document such things as:

  • ELECTRICAL FAULTS BEFORE THEY CAUSE A FIRE

  • OVERLOADED AND UNDERSIZED CIRCUITS

  • CIRCUIT BREAKERS IN NEED OF IMMEDIATE REPLACEMENT

  • HEAT LOSS AND AIR INFILTRATION IN WALLS, CEILINGS, FLOORS, WINDOWS AND DOORS

  • WATER AND MOISTURE INTRUSION THAT COULD LEAD TO MOLD

  • HIDDEN ROOF LEAKS BEFORE THEY CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE STRUCTURE
